Al Rahmani – President and CEO

Mr. Rahmani, is currently the President and CEO of MEI Maverick Engineering and Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for Triple Five Worldwide Engineering. Mr. Rahmani also served as President and CEO of Platinum Energy Resources (publically trade firm) as well as senior Vice President of Engineering & Developments for Triple Five Corporation. Mr. Rahmani graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering. Mr. Rahmani has extensive management skills and is versed in leading companies in Oil & Gas and engineering throughout the southern USA and Western Canada and successfully executed projects in South America, Caribbean and Asia.

Chester L. Sackett – Vice President

Mr. Sackett began his career as a Safety Engineer for DuPont in the early 80s and has served as an agent of change for a diversified portfolio of organizations throughout his 30 year career. Mr. Sackett has served the Triple Five group of companies in various senior leadership roles for the past 10 years. He has served as Senior VP, Triple Five Energy Engineering Division; Management Role at Platinum Energy Resources; CSO, Maverick Engineering; and currently serves as Vice President of MEI. Prior to joining MEI Mr. Sackett was a principal in a large EPC firm and served as the President and CEO of Paragon Management, WarSac Industries, Affiliated Tool and Supply and Young Country Commercial Realty Partners. Notable affiliations include serving as the President of the ARCO Alliance, President of the Exxon/Mobil Steering Committee, President and Vice President of the Ultramar Diamond Shamrock Steering Committee, Director of the Pacific Energy Association, Director of the Western Constructors Training Trust, Senior Editor of Top Gun Magazine and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of the Texas Workforce Commission, Golden Crescent. Mr. Sackett completed his undergraduate course work at the University of California and graduate studies at the University of La Verne

Patrick Matusek – Yokum Operations Manager

Mr. Matusek has been with MEI Maverick Engineering for 15 years as a Project Manager with over 30 years of experience in providing engineering and surveying services.  He has completed over 450 ROW parcel surveys and served as project manager on several large ROW surveys involving from 40 to 80 parcels each.  In completion of these projects, Mr. Matusek has obtained excellent evaluations from TxDOT in his preparation of parcel plats, legal descriptions and ROW maps.  His work has been used as samples throughout TxDOT ROW mapping and surveys.  He presently serves as the Survey Business Stream Manager for MEI Maverick Engineering, Inc. Mr. Matusek graduated Cum Laude from the Texas A&M University with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, he also holds an MBA from the University of Houston, he has a PE license and a Registered Texas Professional Land Surveyor license as well.

Jeff Barton – Victoria Texas Operations Manager

Mr. Barton serves as the Operations Manager for the Oil & Gas Operations out of the Victoria office for MEI Maverick Engineering.  He has worked for Maverick Engineering since 1998 and as the Operations Manager for the past six years.  Mr. Barton graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 1995 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering and has over twenty (20) years of experience within the Oil & Gas, Pipeline and Petrochemical industries.  He began his career as a staff Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager working for Parsons in Houston, Texas.  In June 1998, he joined Maverick Engineering in Victoria, Texas in a position covering the roles of Mechanical Engineer, Project Engineer and Project Manager.  Mr. Barton’s experience covers all phases of the Oil & Gas, Pipeline and Petrochemical/Refining industries including oil & gas production facility, tank battery, gas processing plant, pipeline, meter station, compressor station, and petrochemical design projects.

Percy Millet – Corpus Christi Operations Manager

Mr. Millet has over 12 years of management experience with MEI Maverick Engineering Inc. and currently oversees our Industrial and Infrastructure Divisions in Corpus Christi Office.  Prior to that, he has served as the MEI Corpus Christi Industrial Division Manager for 3.5 years overseeing all engineering and design services including quality control and schedule and cost performance.  Mr. Millet was also a Sr. Project Manager for over 8 years responsible for managing MEI’s larger projects for our industrial local and international clients.  Mr. Millet has extensive engineering and project management experience and his previous work history includes management / leadership roles with NuStar Energy, Ambitech Engineering, BHP Engineering, FMC Smith Systems, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Halter Marine Inc. and Proctor and Gamble.  Mr. Millet attended Tulane University in New Orleans, LA on an athletic / football scholarship and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.
